Your vehicle’s interior is where you spend most of your time. At Detaileur, we take pride in restoring not just appearance but hygiene and comfort. Our process is comprehensive and customizable, depending on your vehicle’s current condition — from lightly used interiors to heavily soiled and neglected cabins.

Interior Detailing Process at Detaileur: Tailored Per Vehicle Condition

Step 1: Pre-Inspection & Consultation

We begin with a detailed inspection of the interior to assess:

  • Upholstery and material types (fabric, leather, Alcantara, vinyl)

  • Level of dirt, stains, odors, pet hair, and mold

  • Previous maintenance and wear patterns

This helps us determine the appropriate cleaning methods, products, tools, and any required add-ons.

Step 2: Surface and Debris Removal

  • Interior Decluttering: Removal of trash, personal items, and larger debris.

  • Compressed Air & Blowout: Dislodges dust, sand, and particles from vents, seams, seat rails, and hard-to-reach areas.

  • Thorough Vacuuming: High-powered vacuum of carpets, seats, boot/trunk area, mats, and under seats.

Step 3: Upholstery and Surface Cleaning (Based on vehicle condition)​​

  • Dashboard, console, door trims cleaned with safe, anti-static interior cleaner

  • Spot-cleaning of fabric seats and floor mats

  • Interior windows and mirrors cleaned

  • Leather wipe-down and light conditioning

  • Footwells, boot area, and air vents cleaned

Step 4: Optional Add-On Treatments (Charged Separately if Required)                           

  • Pet Hair Removal**                    

  • Stain & Spot Extraction**     

  • Steam Cleaning or Shampooing** 

  • Mould or Mildew Treatment**    

  • Ozone Odour Elimination**  

  • Headliner Cleaning**          

  • Leather Deep Clean & Protect*

Step 5: Surface Finishing

  • UV Protection Applied to plastics and rubbers to prevent fading

  • Leather Conditioning (included for maintained leather; deep work extra)

  • Final Touches: Console wiped, glass polished, fresh interior scent (optional)

Step 6: Final Inspection & Customer Walkthrough

  • Before we hand the vehicle back, we conduct a full walkthrough to ensure quality. If any unforeseen heavy-soiling or problem areas are found during detailing, we’ll communicate it and offer options to proceed.

Important Note on Condition-Based Pricing

  • All packages are based on the assumption of a reasonably clean, well-maintained interior.
    Extra charges will apply for heavily soiled cabins, pet hair, stains, mould, strong odours, or additional labour beyond the standard scope. Quotes are finalised after vehicle inspection.
